General discussion about the E96 Social Responsibility Program to go here.

When i talk to muga he broght up the concerns re: privacy of contributions and transparency of accounts.

Privacy: Ppl in abroad can contribute huge amount of money compared to ppl work locally. But it create some guilty complexity within individuals about thier contributions who couldnt match that with others (Hope you all agree with me).

Transparacy: We need some kind of a transparency of accounts as well when think about a long run.

So I suggest 2 ways to contribute.

Option 1:
Contribute to public account where contributors can request the organizers to produce account at the end of the project

Option 2:
Contribute to anonymus account where details are only known by the organization committee. I belive it is not ethical for any one who wants to contribute anonymously to know what others have contributed.

I think at least the the organizing committee should know the amount. I think machan we should not be worry about the amount that we give. As i can remember last time we send for those information to the all members who give the donations. as far as i can remember some members who was in SL at that time gave 2000 RS and that was teh minimum amount(me also gave only 2000, that is what i can). publicizing the list to teh whole group is not a good idea but there should be a record somewhere . Of cause if someone don't like to keep the record about his/her donation we can allow him/her to do so.

Im trying to summarize all emails regarding above matter.

Proposed process so far

1. Either a joint account or a account for E96SRP will be open in a bank
2. People deposit money to the account anonymously (Statement reflects all deposits)
3. Organizers withdraw money for expenses (Statement reflects all withdrawals)
4. Organizing committee should settle all withdrawals against expenses (with bills when ever possible)
5. Bank statement [100% reliable document] and expenses report is available for anyone who is interested
